In this ever changing world the Word of God definitely "hits home" with many of us today.  While evangelism should be a very important aspect of our walk with God, your own salvation should be at the top of the list.  You may think of that statement as selfish but really think about it.  What better tool of evangelism is there than to be a CONSTANT beacon of light, hope, God's grace and love, and a seeker of righteousness?  "Work out your salvation with fear and trembling".  "Save yourself from this untoward generation".  These are things we've heard preached and 'teached' our whole lives but it is time to get serious.  You say, How?  I say, live life as if you were in God's scope every minute of every hour (you are you know).  If you were Jesus looking at yourself, would you forgive as often as he has, would you be as gracious to those that you gave your life for but live life as if 'You' don't exist?
